Mutation Mechanic

The biggest addition. When breeding with a normal Cake, there's now a ~5-10% chance to produce a Mutated Egg instead of a regular one. Pals hatched from Mutated Eggs receive:

• Higher IVs (Individual Values) — typically in the 91-100 range
• Alpha status — larger size and boosted base stats
• New exclusive passive skills — some passives can ONLY be obtained through mutations

Mutated Eggs appear with a distinctive purple glow in your incubator. The mutation chance can be slightly improved by using higher-tier Cakes.

New Cake Types

Cake recipes have been completely overhauled. Different Cake types now influence breeding outcomes:

A brand-new passive trait that increases breeding and hatching speed when assigned to the Breeding Farm. Stack multiple Babysitters for maximum efficiency.

IV System

Every Pal now has hidden Individual Values (IVs) for Attack and Defense, ranging from 0-100. IVs are partially inherited from parents during breeding:

• Each IV stat has a ~40% chance to be inherited from either parent
• The remaining ~60% chance rolls randomly (0-100)
• Mutated Eggs from 100-IV parents still re-roll, but typically land in the 91-100 range

Endgame goal: 100 IVs in both Attack and Defense on your combat Pals.

The Four-Passive Rule

A Pal can have up to 4 passive skills. When breeding, passives from both parents enter a shared pool:

• If the combined unique passives from both parents ≤ 4, each has a good chance of being inherited
• If combined unique passives > 4, the inheritance chance for each individual passive decreases linearly
• This is why isolating passives before chain-breeding is critical

• Cost: 100 Wood, 20 Stone, 50 Fiber

Before working on passives, breed the desired active skill (attack) onto your target Pal. This is easier to do first because:

• Active skill inheritance is more straightforward

Step 3: Chain-Breed Passives One at a Time

1. Find a Pal that has only the passive you want (or as few other passives as possible)
2. Breed it with your target Pal
3. Select the offspring that inherited the new passive
4. Repeat for each additional passive
